Join the 12-bed Emergency Department in Guernsey as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP), delivering patient-centred care across majors, resus, paediatrics, triage and minor assessment. You’ll assess and treat undifferentiated presentations alongside specialist doctors and nurses, managing around 23,000 cases a year.

Operate with clinical autonomy to diagnose, manage and discharge patients under agreed guidelines, while collaborating with ED doctors on referrals and discharges, ensuring safe, efficient flow and high-quality care.
About the role: Advanced Nurse Practitioner
As an ANP, you’ll practice advanced assessment, examination, diagnosis and treatment within your scope, using skills like suturing, ABGs, nerve blocks and joint relocation to provide comprehensive emergency care.
You’ll also lead service improvements, mentor junior staff, promote user-involvement, maintain professional standards, and ensure NMC guidelines and local protocols guide every decision.
Benefits and Salary
You’ll earn a Band 8a salary of £67,355–£80,716 per annum, plus relocation support, lease car option, 25 days’ leave (rising with service), pension contributions, private medical cover, and generous training, revalidation and wellbeing schemes.
